Video Games Kill and Rock & Roll is Dead

A harsh yet humorous blog exploring the vast unknowns of nerdom, video games, music and art.

The Twitter.
The Facebook.
Ask. Asked. Asking.
Yes, that will do just fine.

Friend just linked me this from imgur. It’s a new ToS policy on 360/One
It’s over. Xbox is finished for me.

Are you fucking kidding me?This is EXACTLYwhat they said they wouldn’t do, and it’s sad how many people are going to be tricked into accepting it because they just ‘trust’ the company.
I think it really says a lot about this generation and how it’s shaping up. We’re now in the era where it’s official; We aren’t trusted with services. We pay to be monitored instead of private services.
I mean, I kind of get it with the piracy scare, but this? I can’t vouch for this.

Fun fact, I looked this up in order to check if it was true or not, and it’s 100%…
true. It’s been in effect from October 2012 according to the Terms of Service website, and was drafted September 2012. I’m not certain if that section was drafted earlier or not, or if a different clause actually somewhat negates it, but the fact that this privacy statement exists is a huge blow to Microsoft and their alleged policies.
This is the source where I found it. The official Xbox site. The section containing this passage is section 11, Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows-LIVE.

Yeeaaah, let’s hope my Tumblr feed isn’t just a silent minority and the majority will actually boycott this console.
